Launch of Victor Berbel's new website - performance, freedom and design in one project

With over 15 years' experience as a freelance designer and a portfolio that crosses borders, Victor Berbel is an established name on the global creative scene. His work combines refined aesthetics and strategic thinking, serving clients from all over the world - and now, his entire career has been given a new website to match his portfolio of projects.

RMD was responsible for developing Victor's new website, which he designed himself, using Webflow as the development platform. Our main goal was to ensure a highly organized site with excellent loading performance - especially for the project images - without losing visual quality.

To do this, we used the Lumos Framework (by Timothy Ricks) and built the entire project using Webflow Components. This approach brings gains in performance, structure and maintenance. With Components, Victor will have complete freedom to edit content and create new pages or sections, without having to rely on code and without the risk of breaking the layout structure. An evolution in the autonomy to manage the project and in the scalability of the site.

Why did we choose the Lumos Framework?

The Lumos Framework is a modern Webflow structure that offers:

• Consistency at scale: Uses a system of utility classes and global variables, allowing fast and consistent updates throughout the site.

• Dynamic color system: Facilitates the implementation of color modes (light/dark) and theme customizations with ease.

• Responsive layout by default: Designed to be fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience on all devices.
